Independent Financial Advice - Colchester

From our office in Wivenhoe, Colchester, we provide clear understandable independent financial advice to private clients, attorneys, businesses and trustees in Colchester and throughout Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and East Anglia - and occasionally even further afield. Our first class, personal, financial planning service can provide you with advice on Investments, Pensions and Insurances, and our clients span all age groups from those just starting out in life to others seeking Equity Release, Inheritance Tax or Long Term Care advice.

You are always Centre Stage

Whether you are seeking complex investment advice or just wish to discuss your life insurance, your needs and aspirations are at the centre of everything we do. You will always take centre stage.

"... the service you have provided us has been exceptional, not only in terms of the quality of advice you have given us, but also in the way that nothing has ever been too much trouble…"

Mr & Mrs H, Soham

Our Approach

We enjoy working with our clients and our approach is of course professional, but also relaxed. Our relationship with you will be underpinned by our clarity and integrity ... we do what we say we will, when we say we will.

Clarity in all things is our aim. That is why we have a glass sphere as our emblem.

When working with us you can expect the following three aspects to our relationship:

  • Advice:  Clear and Understandable

  • Service: Professional and Friendly

  • Fees:     Transparent and Fair

Whatever plans or aspirations you have, our services are helping people just like you to manage their day-to-day finances better, protect what they have and work towards achieving their dreams.

The next step

""

Just give us a call to begin with (or you can email if you prefer). We can then have a quick chat about what is on your mind and answer any questions or concerns you might have. If you would like to take things further we can arrange a short introductory meeting to help you to decide if you would like to engage us. We will give you the time that you need to ask further questions so that you can decide what is right for you – although we are unable to give you specific financial advice at this initial meeting.

Our meetings will normally be held in the comfort of your own home or office. This is part of our service commitment to you.

If you wish to continue, and engage our services, we will agree the fee for the work with you at that meeting.  If you decide not to proceed then we will politely leave you alone. If you do not want our help we still wish to leave you feeling that our meeting was of value.

Call us on 01206 823953, or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to arrange an initial discussion

Scamproof your savings

Scammers are after your pension pot! They will try to lure you with promises of one-off investments, pension loans or upfront cash. Most of these are bogus.

Pension Death Benefits

Clients hoping to leave a flexible legacy to family members from their pension need to check that they have everything in place to make that happen. Trying (your executors) to achieve this after your death may be impossible if you were stuck in a pension scheme which doesn't offer the new freedoms, or with an outdated death benefit nomination.
