Integrity is the essence of everything sucessful."

R. Buckminster Fuller

Independent Financial Advice - Colchester

From our office in Wivenhoe, Colchester, we provide clear understandable independent financial advice to private clients, businesses and trustees in Colchester and throughout Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and East Anglia - and occasionally even further afield. Our first class, personal, financial planning service can provide you with advice on Investments, Pensions, Insurances and Mortgages and our clients span all age groups from those just starting out in life to others seeking Equity Release, Inheritance Tax or Long Term Care advice.

You are our focus

Whether you are seeking complex investment advice or just wish to discuss your life insurance, your needs and aspirations are at the centre of everything we do. You will always take centre stage.

"... the service you have provided us has been exceptional, not only in terms of the quality of advice you have given us, but also in the way that nothing has ever been too much trouble…"

Mr & Mrs H, Soham

Our Approach

We enjoy working with our clients and our approach is of course professional, but also relaxed. Our relationship with you will be underpinned by our clarity and integrity ... we do what we say we will, when we say we will.

Clarity in all things is our aim. That is why we have a glass sphere as our emblem.

When working with us you can expect the following three aspects to our relationship:

  • Advice:  Clear and Understandable

  • Service: Professional and Friendly

  • Fees:     Transparent and Fair

Whatever plans or aspirations you have, our services are helping people just like you to manage their day-to-day finances better, protect what they have and work towards achieving their dreams.

The next step

""We offer an initial discussion meeting at our expense and with no obligation at all. We will explain who we are and how our independent financial advice services work. We will then focus on your goals and priorities and explore how we might be able to help you. There is no clock ticking in the background at any of our meetings. You will have all the time you need to ask questions so that you can decide what is right for you.

Our meetings will normally be held in the comfort of your own home or office. This is part of our service commitment to you.

If you wish to continue, and engage our services, we will agree the fee for the work with you at that meeting.  If you decide not to proceed then we will politely leave you alone. If you do not want our help we still wish to leave you feeling that our meeting was of value.

Pension Death Benefits

Clients hoping to leave a flexible legacy to family members from their pension need to check that they have everything in place to make that happen. Trying (your executors) to achieve this after your death may be impossible if you were stuck in a pension scheme which doesn't offer the new freedoms, or with an outdated death benefit nomination.
